I'm nearly finished reading Revolutionary Road and WOAHMYGOD.
Somebody relatively important to the literary world said it was The Great Gatsby of Richard Yates' generation. I feel entitled to agree. I'll even say it's way more entertaining to read.
I have not seen the movie, but I get the feeling that it turns the Kate and Leo chemistry established in Titanic on its head, whacks it between the shoulders fifty times and leaves it out in the rain to catch pneumonia.
WARNING. My next piece of useful advice is most definitely a SPOILER. SO GO SELECTIVELY BLIND IF YOU WANT TO READ/WATCH IT YET AND STILL BE PURE. UNLESS YOU'RE LIKE ME AND CAN GUESS WHAT'LL HAPPEN. I REPEAT: SPOILERS.
... Yeah, abortions?
